PURPOSE:To form a titlled device which permits continuous operation and deals with various forms of operations by constituting the device of an electrode rod feeder, and a torch part as well as a wire guide pipe connecting both, and enabling use of the wires in combination of plural pieces. CONSTITUTION:When a motor is driven, plural wire-shaped electrode rods 6 drawn out from plural drums are straightened respective bends with a stretching machine and are delivered at a prescribed speed to tubes 4. The rods (wires) 6 introduced through the tubes 4 into a torch part are gathered through a guide pipe 50 to a prescribed arrangement in the parts of discs 74-76 and are delivered to a working position from a guide plate 71. On the other hand, the compressed air to be introduced through a coaxial cable 58 into the torch part is ejected from a nozzle 64 through a tube 59. Electric current is supplied through a block 54, the pipe 50, and an auxiliary fittings 67 to the wires 6 from the discs 74-76 and the plate 71. The metal to be worked is melted by the arc heat between the wires 6 and the metal to be worked, and is blown off by the air from the nozzle 64, by which the metal is gouged to prescribed shape. |
