PURPOSE:To stop the carrying device surely by a method wherein the control mechanism, stopping the carrying device for the work to be treated of an automatic plating device or the like at a predetermined position, is provided with a stop detecting sensor and a stop dog and the mechanism is controlled by a computer. CONSTITUTION:A driving device is operated by a signal from the computer 2 and the carrying device 1 is moved into longitudinal direction. The arm body 3 of the carrying device is provided with the stop detecting sensor 4 at the side part thereof and a frame 5, at the side of the arm body 3, is arranged with the stop dog 6. In case the carrying device 1 is moved to the longitudinal direction and begins inching motion in order to stop near the predetermined stopping position, the carrying device 1 moves by the command of the computer 2 with a low speed into a direction reverse to the advancing direction thereof for a predetermined inputted period of time, and stops at a position when the sensor 4 detects the dog 6 and both of them are made ON. When the sensor 4 and the dog 6 are not put ON even if the carrying device 1 has moved to the direction reverse to the advancing direction thereof for said predetermined period of time, the device 1 moves to the advancing direction and is stopped when both of them are made ON. |
