PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain, for example, a brake pad wear detector which generates stable alarm sound without being subject to interference with other components.SOLUTION: A brake pad wear detector includes: an attachment part attached to a back board having a first surface, to which a lining configured to contact with a slide surface of a disc rotor is fixed, and a second surface opposite to the first surface; an arm part protruding from the attachment part to a side of the first surface, which is opposite to the second surface, and bent at the opposite side; and a contact part provided at the arm part and located at a position at which the contact part contacts with the disc rotor when the lining is worn.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
