PURPOSE: To form a color image prevented from the color slippage. CONSTITUTION: This color printing device is provided with extension means for extending printing data from a host device to several image data for the respective color, plural printing means 1 for respectively printing and outputting the several image data extended by the extension means to the respective recording medium, the transporting means 8 for transporting the recording medium to respective printing means 1, and the control means 17 for controlling operation timing of plural printing means 1. Further, this device is equipped with a paper end detection sensor 15 for catching a leading end position of the recording medium transported by the transporting means 8 and the image detection sensor 16 for detecting the image position printed on the recording medium, both of which is respectively arranged side by side, and moreover furnished with the first operation control function for the control means 17 to control the operation of the plural printing means 1, based on respective output signal of the paper end detection sensor 15 and the image detection sensor 16. |
