<p>In a magnetic recording device, digital data is recorded with higher density in such a manner that plural recording tracks (5) are sequentially formed on a magnetic recording medium (4). Any two adjoining tracks (5a, 5b) are formed by separate magnetic heads (3a, 3b) whose azimuth angles are equal to + theta , - theta , with the absolute value of the angle theta being selected to satisfy the relationship 16 DEG </=0</=22 DEG , in a manner such that the crosstalk level between any two neighbouring tracks may be reduced without affecting the signal-to-noise ratio. </p> |
