PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver-coated tellurium powder which exhibits excellent low-temperature sintering characteristics when used for an electrically conductive paste, and a production method of the silver-coated tellurium powder, and also to provide an electrically conductive paste.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method of producing a silver-coated tellurium powder by adding a tellurium powder to a silver complex solution and then covering at least part of the surface of the tellurium powder with one of silver and a compound comprising silver and tellurium, wherein preferably a fatty acid is added as a dispersant, and more preferably after the tellurium powder is added to the silver complex solution, aging time is provided and the aging time is 10 minutes or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
