PURPOSE:To stop automatically a press device at a fixed position by attaching an encoder to a revolving shaft synchronized with the cycle of a press slide, counting the outputs therefrom, selecting the sliding angle by a press speed selecting switch and outputting a stop signal when the values thereof coincide. CONSTITUTION:An encoder 1 is attached to a revolving shaft 1 constituting a press device, and the outputs therefrom are respectively successively inputted via a pulse line 2 to counters 3, 4, 5 for the 1st, 10th and 100th digits. The counters 3, 4, 5 are made resettable by a reset line 6. The count values from the counters 3, 4, 5 are compared in comparators 7, 8, 9 connected to a rotary switch 10, and the output signals obtd. by the comparison are transmitted via an OR circuit 12, a driver 13 and a transistor 14 to a relay 15. The number of revolutions of the revolving shaft and the sliding angle corresponding thereto are thus detected and a relay 15 is actuated to stop the device when a desired value is attained. |
