PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium which permits less transfer on a magnetic surface, retards sticking of the transferred material onto a head and has the effect of preventing electrification by providing a coating film contg. a phthalocyanine pigment on the rear surface. CONSTITUTION:A coating film is formed by dispersing a phthalocyanine pigment in a soln. of resin such as polyvinyl chloride, satd. polyester, polyurethane, epoxy resin, etc. adding a lubricant, surface active agent, rust inhibitor, etc. according to need to said soln., coating the soln. on the rear of a non-magnetic substrate and drying the coating to cure. The amt. of the phthalocyanine pigment to be added into the coating liquid is 5-200pts.wt., more preferably 10-100pts.wt. by 100pts.wt. the resin component to constitute a binder. Pulverous powder of calcium carbonate, barium sulfate, barium carbonate, titanium oxide, silica, alumina, etc. is preferably added to the soln. in order to promote the effect of the phthalocyanine pigment and the adequate amt. of such powder to be added is 1-20pts.wt. by 100pts.wt. the resin. |
