PURPOSE:To detect accurately the remaining fuel quantity by providing a means for obtaining jetting fuel quantity in a prescribed term and obtaining the remaining fuel quantity at present time from the value obtained by said means and the remaining fuel quantity stored in a storing means. CONSTITUTION:A means (b) for detecting the spilling position of a diesel engine (a), a means (c) for detecting the revolving speed of the engine (a), a means (d) for obtaining the fuel quantity jetted in a prescribed term from the detected spilling position and the revolving speed, and a means (e) for storing the remaining fuel quantity in a fuel tank are provided. The remaining fuel quantity at present time is obtained from the remaining fuel quantity stored in the means (e) and the obtained jetted fuel quantity, and a means (f) for renewing the stored contents in the means (e) is also provided. |
