The invention relates to cooling bodies of the abovementioned type, which, introduced into drinks and if necessary dissolving therein, bring about a temperature equalisation with the drinks. The aim is to achieve a more rapid temperature equalisation of the drinks. The object is, by novel design of the cooling bodies, to achieve this more rapid temperature equalisation with subsequently long-lasting, constant temperature equalisation of the dirnks. According to the invention, the cooling body mass is differently divided on the one hand into regions with mass concentrations and smaller wetting or melting surfaces, and on the other hand into regions with subdivided mass and larger wetting or melting surfaces. <IMAGE>
