PURPOSE:To shorten the executing time of a control program and to improve the processing efficiency of a virtual computer system, by allocating in time- division real computers to plural virtual computers, in which executable jobs exist, and selecting a virtual space in accordance with the identifying number of the allocated virtual computers. CONSTITUTION:A control storage 4 storing firmware, time slicing timer 8 which counts the allocating time of a real computer, and VMRUN flag 9 indicating the existence of an executing virtual computer (VM) are connected to the logical circuit 3 of a virtual computer (VM) system. Moreover, a main storage circuit 5, register 7 which stores the identifying number of VMs to which a real computer is allocated, and converting circuit 6 which selects a virtual space on the device 5 in accordance with the discriminating No. of the register 7 are connected to the circuit 3. Then real computers are allocated to plural VMs, in which executable jobs exist, under a time-shaped condition and a virtual space is selected in accordance with the identifying number of the VMs. Thus the executing time of a control program is shortened.
