<p>PURPOSE:To make a paper feed cassette itself in a small size by refraining installation of a pressure means, to heave a sheet receipt table in a paper feed cassette, from location in the lower part of the receipt table, and thereby increasing the capacity for accommodation of the sheets. CONSTITUTION:This cassette 21 for feed of sheets is equipped with a sheet guide 22 at its bottom part to guide the side edges of each sheet having a large thickness such as postal card, a receptacle table 23 with restricting piece 23-1 to admit placing of those thick sheets thereupon and to restrict the trailing edge of the sheets, a restricting pawl 24 to restrict the leading edge of sheets and serve feeding thereof one after another, a sheet position restricting member 25 (25-1, 25-2) to restrict the uppermost position of the sheets placed on said receptacle table 23, a spring retainer 27 to retain a spring 26 for heaving this receptacle table 23 upward at all times, and a stopper 28 to restrict the moving range of said sheet position restricting member 25.</p> |
