<p>PURPOSE:To prevent double-cut in a paper feeder in which one of rolled papers is selected and fed, by providing a braking means for selectively making either one of the rolled papers in press-contact therewith and braking it, in biffles for guiding the rolled papers. CONSTITUTION:When a rolled paper 2 is selected, a motor is rotated by a control device incorporated in a machine frame 1 to drive a feed roll 4, and the rolled paper 12 held between the feed roll 4 and a pinch roll 6 is fed through between an upper buffle 8 and a middle buffle and as well through a common buffle section 11. A rotary blade 13 is rotated in association with a signal from the incorporated control device and therefore, the rolled paper 2 is cut. At this stage no operating instruction is issued to a rotary solenoid 19, a movable buffle 15 is swung downward by the returning resilient force of a spring incorporated in the solenoid 19, and therefore the front edge 15b of the buffle 15 cuts the rolled paper 2 alone since a rolled paper 3 is made in press-contact and braked.</p> |
