PURPOSE:To improve triboelectric performance, to obtain desirable conveyability, and to prevent trailing and fogging by incorporating a fine ferromagnetic powder having a specified specific surface area. CONSTITUTION:A fine ferromagnetic powder having 3.0-4.5, preferably, 3.2- 4.2m<2>/g specific surface area, and 3.0-4.5, preferably, 3.2-4.2 max. magnetic permeability, in the case of 1.0MHz is used for a magnetic toner in an amt. of 30-100pts.wt. ferromagnetic powder per 100pts.wt. binder resin. Desirable conveyability on a developing sleeve and good tribolelectric performance are obtained by using such a magnetic toner, and consequently, deformation of a copied image deteriorating image quality, such as trailing, and fogging are prevented, and a superior fixed image can be obtained. |
