PURPOSE:To execute processing without accessing a responsible person by setting up and storing the upper limit amount of service in an electronic cash register, and when a treated amount exceeds the upper limit amount, transmitting the state to a master processor and displaying an instruction from the master processor. CONSTITUTION:Slave electronic cash register (ECR) 11-13 to be operated by normal operators are connected to the master ECT 100 to be operated by the responsible person through a transmission line 1. The upper limit amount to be treated by the normal operator is stored in the slave ECRs 11-13 in each function code. When the operator handles a keyboard and the treated amount exceeds the set up upper limit, an instruction ''TRANSFER KEY ON'' is displayed. When key is ON, a machine number and a treating amount is displayed with an amount in the master ECR100. The responsible person operating the master ECR100 observes the displayed contents, inputs his decision by an ''OK'' or ''WAIT'' key and transmits his decision to the slave ECRs 11-13. Thus, the operators can obtain the instruction without leaving their self positions. |
