PURPOSE:To amplify a laser beam reflected and passed at the portion of the high energy density of a laser beam in a laser oscillating and amplifying device having a laser oscillator using an unstable resonator and a high stage laser amplifier by disposing a local reflection mirror between laser amplifiers. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam 11 emitted from a laser oscillator 1 using an unstable resonator is amplified by a laser amplifier 2. At this time, the energy density in the vidinity of the center of a laser beam 12 becomes very strong. This strong portion is reflected in a direction 13 by a fully reflecting coating unit 5 of a local reflecting mirror 3, and the laser beam 14 passed through the nonreflecting coating unit 6 is amplified by a laser amplifier 4 of the rear stage. Even when the laser amplifier is further increased, the local reflecting mirror is disposed between the laser amplifiers. When the energy density in the vicinity of the center of the laser oscillator using the unstable resonator is strong in the degree of damaging the optical components, the local reflecting mirror is disposed between the oscillator and the amplifier. In this manner, the laser amplifier and the optical components can be prevented from damaging, thereby preferably transmitting the laser light as its pattern. |
