<p>A device for water purification has a container, which comprises an approximately cylindrical wall with cover and bottom. Partitions are arranged spirally in the container. To create a water purification device with a great bed height without excessive space requirement, so that such purification devices can be easily used in households, in catering establishments, or in industrial practice, it is envisaged according to the present invention that the container can be charged with cleansing agent, and that one screen each is mounted at its inlet and outlet, so that a great bed height is obtained for the cleansing agent. Consequently, the water being purified can be kept in contact with the packing over a long path from the inlet to the outlet.</p> |
