PURPOSE:To prevent tracking from being defective or disabled owing to a radio wave disturbance by radiating a transmit signal from a monopulse antenna after amplitude modulation similar to that in conical scanning. CONSTITUTION:The amplitude modulation similar to that in conical scanning is imposed to the output of a coherent oscillator 1 by an amplitude modulating circuit 25 which is driven by a modulating signal generating cirlcuit 16 before the pulse modulation of a pulse modulator 3. Consequently, the transmit pulses outputted by the monopulse pulses 8 appeared to be scanned conically. Therefore, it seems that tracking is carried out by a conical scanning type tracking radar to select a wrong disturbing radio wave on a tracking target side, and a defect of tracking, and a failure in tracking are prevented to continue the tracking by a monpulse radar. |
