PURPOSE:To provide the titled metal working oil compsn. contg. a PH-adjusted polyalkyleneimine and an HLB improver, which has an excellent lubricating property without the use of conventional liquid lubricant and prevents contamination of workpiece with soil water. CONSTITUTION:The metal working oil compsn. consists of (A) 100pts.wt. polyalkyleneimine (deriv.) with an MW of 250-100,000 (e.g. polyethyleneimine) adjusted to a PH of 5-12 by treatment with an inorg, org, or phosphoric acid compd. (e.s. boric, phosphoric, or ethyl phosphoric acid) and (B) 0.1-50pts.wt. HLB improver (e.s. a carboxamide obtained by reacting an 8-22C monocarboxylic acid with ammonia or a 1-8C aliphatic or alicyclic amine). The compsn. has excellent lubricating porperties, gives non-contaminated beautiful surface finish to workpiece without the use of conventional liquid lubricant and prevents contamination with metal powder, deteriorated lubricant, etc. |
