PURPOSE:To provide the titled dye mixture having improved dyeing characteristics such as degree of exhaustion, temperature-dependence of the dyeing operation, build-up property, etc., and dyeing a polyester fiber in yellow color, by adding a specific monoazo dye to a monoazo dye at a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:The objective dye mixture is prepared by mixing (A) 90-30wt% of the monoazo dye of formula I (R is 3-6C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxyalkyl, phenoxyalkyl or aralkyl) (e.g. the compound of formula II) with (B) 10-70wt% of the monoazo dye of formula III. EFFECT:Excellent also in the fastnesses to light, sublimation, moisture, etc., as well as heat resistance, alkali discharge resistance, etc.
