PURPOSE:To measure the component and amt. of turbid material in short time with a simple operation by providing a photodetecting part oppositely to the part for capturing the turbid material of a membrane filter delivered from a filter section and detecting the reflectivity or transmittance of the captured turbid material or the component of the reflected light or transmitted light. CONSTITUTION:An upper filter plate 4b is brought into press contact with a lower filter plate 4a to join both plates in a watertight state while a membrane filter 2 is held in place between said plates. The water to be examined is fed through a water feed pipe 7a into a filter chamber 4c where the water is filtered through the filter 2 and is drained through a drain pipe 7b. The turbid material in a specified amt. of the test water is captured by the filter 2. The part with captured turbid material is advanced to the position facing a photodetecting part 16 on the outside of a filter part 4. Light is irradiated from a light source built in said part 16 and the light reflected from the turbid material captured on the filter 2 is detected in said photodetecting part by which the reflectivity Y(%) and the (x), (y) values relating to the color tone are detected. The detection signals of Y, (x), (y) are compared with the set value inputted preliminarily in an arithmetic device 19 and the component and amt. of the turbid material are decided. |
