PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projecting window opening/closing device capable of smoothly performing an opening/closing operation and a locking/unlocking operation of a shoji screen in a single operation, and a projecting window.SOLUTION: The projecting window opening/closing device comprises: a vertical locked part 6 that is provided on a vertical rail 3b of a shoji screen 3; a horizontal locked part 4 that is provided on a horizontal rail 3a; a vertical locking part 29 that is provided on a vertical frame in a freely slidable manner; a horizontal locking part 23 that is provided on a horizontal frame 5a in a freely slidable manner; a shoji screen opening/closing operation part 7; a vertical interlock mechanism 11 which connects the opening/closing operation part 7 and the vertical locking part 29; and a horizontal interlock mechanism 13 which connects the opening/closing operation part 7 and the horizontal locking part 23. During a closing operation of the shoji screen 3 by the opening/closing operation part 7, the vertical interlock mechanism 11 moves the vertical locking part 29 to a locking position with the vertical locked part 6 and the horizontal interlock mechanism 13 moves the horizontal locking part 23 to a locking position with the horizontal locked part 4. When starting an opening operation of the opening/closing operation part 7, the vertical interlock mechanism 11 moves the vertical locking part 29 that is being locked with the vertical locked part 6, to an unlocking position and the horizontal interlock mechanism 13 moves the horizontal locking part 23 that is being locked with the horizontal locked part 4, to an unlocking position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
