Combined fuel and air pumps for IC engine - has engine mounted housing and couplings between pump and drive motor

The combined pumping system has fuel and air pump each with its own drive motor. It is used especially for ensuring air preheating in compression ignition engine. The support housing (15) mounted on the engine, forms end closure for a housing which accommodates the air pump motor and bearing (17) of the rotor shaft of this motor. The fule pump (13) on one side of the support housing is coupled to its motor (14) on the other side by coupling (34). An electrical contactor unit is arranged on the support housing for connecting electrical conductors of both drive motors.
