PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing belt which can secure adhesiveness between a metal plating layer and a layer above the metal plating layer, and has excellent temperature uniformity.SOLUTION: A fixing belt 1 has a baser layer 2 which is formed into a cylindrical shape and is made from a resin, a metal plating layer 3 laminated on the outer periphery of the base layer 2, and a polymer layer 4 which is laminated through a primer layer 41 or not through the primer layer 41 on the outer periphery of the metal plating layer 3 and is made from a polymer. The metal plating layer 3 has a first plating layer 31 which is arranged in a side closest to the polymer layer 4 side and has a surface uneven portion 311 formed of a large number of recesses 311a and projections 311b on the surface on the polymer layer 4 side. In the fixing belt, a ten-point average roughness Rz on the surface of the surface uneven portion 311 is in a range of 1-10 μm. A part of the layer above the first plating layer 31 enters into the recesses 311a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
