Device for the aligned conveying of fish which comprises a conveying organ which has the task of leading the fish to be treated with its head end first past processing tools by laterally guiding it exactly. To this end the conveying organ is provided with entraining elements having a prism-shaped recess and engaging the back of the fish. These entraining elements are arranged either on chain members of a conveyor formed by a link chain or on a toothed belt used as the conveying organ.
