<p>Shoots and branches of fruit trees are secured by means of ties to support wires connected horizontally between posts to constitute a support frame. The ties each comprise a U-shaped member(A) having parallel arms(3) connectd by a curved portion(2). The free ends of the arms are folded back, or formed to provide hooks. The shoot is engaged between the arms and the hooks are applied to a support wire. The tie may be of moulded plastics material or of plastic coated wire.</p> |
