PURPOSE:To reliably form a waterproofness in a motor of an outdoor unit by forming recesses on flanges of housings of the fan motor to be matched from the right and left sides, inserting a vibrationproof rubber into the recesses, integrally forming a vibrationproof rubber and a waterproof covering, and clamping them with the housings of the right and left sides. CONSTITUTION:The housing 9' of a fan motor is divided into right and left sides 9a', 9b', which are matched with screws at the flanges. Vibrationproof rubbers 12a are inserted into several screw portions of the flanges, annular waterproof covering 12 integrated with the rubbers 12a is interposed between the housings 9a', 9b' of the right and left sides, the screws 11 are inserted into holes 12b, clamped and secured. A drain hole 12c is formed at the lower portion, the housing 9b side projected from a rotational shaft 10 is curled outward, and covered on the curling portion with a waterproof ring 9f' rotating integrally with the shaft. Thus, the waterproof is reliably performed to prevent waterdroplets from entering the motor. |
