This rotary machine is provided with a rotation shaft which is supported on an end wall of a housing. The rotary machine is provided with: a bearing which is attached to the rotation shaft and which supports the rotation shaft so as to allow rotation with respect to the housing; a cylindrical holding unit which is provided on the end wall of the housing and which extends in the axial direction of the rotation shaft; and a cylindrical bearing sleeve which is fixed to the holding unit and which surrounds the bearing. The bearing sleeve includes a surrounding portion which surrounds the bearing, and a protruding portion which protrudes from the surrounding portion towards the end wall. The protruding portion and the holding portion overlap in the radial direction of the rotation shaft, and, by the protruding portion and the holding portion being fitted together, the bearing sleeve is fixed to the end wall. |
