The thermoplastic resin composition according to the present invention contains a cellulose-containing solid, obtained after heat treatment using a plant-based biomass as a raw material, and a thermoplastic resin in a mixed solvent of water and at least one type of alcohol selected from C4-8 aliphatic alcohols. Thereby provided is a thermoplastic resin composition with which it is possible to simplify the production process, to improve the miscibility with thermoplastic resins, and to improve the heat stability in comparison with when conventional cellulose nanofibers and lignocellulose nanofibers are incorporated into a resin composition. |
