<p>The fluorescent solar energy collector is used as an external element of a building, such as an element of a wall or roof or a cladding element installed under the window ledge. The collectors (10) may have the form if a right angled isosceles triangle where photoelectric cell is placed on the hypotenuse (11a) while the sides (11b, 11c) are provided with a reflecting layer. The flurorescent plate may be of plactic of of glass of silicate, borosilicate, borate or phosphate. The photocells may be silicon, cadmium sulphidide or copper sulphide which have their maximum sensitivity in the spectral area of the fluorescent ions radiation for minimum loss.</p> |
