<p>A safety ski binding includes a base plate (10) which is mounted on the ski surface (12). At the front of the base plate, two opposite and movable location brackets (28) provide the means for clamping the ski boot sole at the toe end. A compression spring (26), located inside the heel clamp lever provides the operating force for the toe end clamping brackets (28). When a ski boot is placed in the binding, a trigger lever (118) which is located inside the base plate (10) operates the ski binding in such a way that the front clamp brackets and the heel clamp close and so anchor the boot (30).</p> |
