PURPOSE:To measure and control dwelling space satisfactorily by detecting temperature based on the propagation time of ultrasonic wave between a transmitter and a receiver and the set distance value between an oscillator and a receiver. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave transmitting element 14 is mounted at the center of a cover 12 of a transmitter 12a mounted on the side wall 9 of a room A and an ultrasonic wave receiving element 15 at the center of a cover 13 of a receiving section 13a. Then, the transmitter 12a and the receiver 13a are connected with a transition wire 16 buried into a building. An electronic circuit 17 for signal processing is housed into the cover 12 of the transmitter 12a. With the electronic circuit 17, the propagation time of an ultrasonic wave in the air is determined to calculate sound velocity with a computation output circuit 21 from the distance outputted from a distance setter 22. The temperature of air when the sound velocity wave reached is calculated and outputted at the output terminal 18. |
