PURPOSE:To obtain easy assembling and adjustment when a thin card is transferred by providing a roller which is supported freely rotatably to a driving shaft, a spring which presses a magnetic head, and a carrier roller which is fixed at the driving shaft, at the opposite positions interposing the magnetic head and a card carrier path between them. CONSTITUTION:A ball bearing 31 is installed at a driving shaft 30 which is slowed down by a reduction pulley 34. In addition, a roller 33, which has a multi-layer structure composed of a core material 32 made of a cylindrical hard member, and an elastic roller 32' made of an elastic member, is installed on the outer side of the ball bearing. A carrier roller 36 and the driving shaft rotate unitedly. On the other hand, a magnetic head 14 is fixed at a head fixing member 39. When a card 27 reaches the position of magnetic head 14, the elastic roller 32' is deformed, at the same time, the card 27 is energized on the magnetic head 14 side by the deformation elastic force, and the card is contacted closely. The card 27 is transferred by the carrier roller 36 and a pressing roller 35. The roller 33 rotates counterclockwise as the card 27 is transferred.
