PURPOSE:To transfer only a toner to a developing roller, and to execute color recording in bright color by executing the transfer of toner to the developing roller of a toner holding body from a magnetic roller of a developer holding body, by flying interlocking in an electric field. CONSTITUTION:A toner 120b is electrified to a prescribed polarity by a friction against a carrier 120a, the tuft of a developer is formed on the surface of a sleeve 42b by the rotation of a magnet 42a or the sleeve 42b, and when this tuft moves on 42b and comes to be opposed to a developing roller 43, the toner ground of the toner 120b is formed in its air-gap by the electric field of a bias power source 45, the toner moves in the air-gap and is adsorbed to the surface of the roller 43, and a toner layer 120c is formed. On the other hand, when the roller 43 rotates and the layer 120c is opposed to a photosensitive drum 10, the toner ground is formed in its air-gap again by an electric field of a bias power source 46. In such a way, the toner 120b moving in the air-gap adheres to a latent image formed on the photosensitive layer of the drum 10, and the latent image is reduced to a visible image. |
