摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the exhaust-gas emission and fuel consumption by improving lean limit and increasing EGR amount by stratifying the inside of a combustion chamber in light-load range, while sufficiently forming mixed gas in high- load range. CONSTITUTION:In light load range, an intake control valve 7 closes the second intake port 3, and the first fuel injection valve 31 stops fuel injection, and the second fuel injection valve 32 is controlled to jet-out fuel into a combustion chamber in the latter half of intake cycle. Therefore, strong swirl 8 is generated in the combustion chamber by the air inhaled from the first intake port 2, and fuel is gently inhaled. While, in high load range, an ECU25 opens the intake control valve 7, and the first and the second fuel injection valves 31 and 32 are controlled so as to jet-out fuel at a same time.
