PURPOSE:To improve the speed of transmission/reception of a data by transmitting three kinds of levels (high/low/middle) from the output of transmission side on one transmission line and forming the transmission line into a high impedance state on the transmission line to attain a four-value level system. CONSTITUTION:Three kinds of levels (high/low/middle) are transmitted to one transmission line, a high impedance state other than the tri-state three kinds is formed to attain four-value. The three-value and three kinds of high/low/middle levels are received and processed even at the reception side, in case of a state other than above, that is, when a transmission side output impedance is at a high impedance, the input terminal at the reception side normally reaches an unstable state. Since the inside of the reception side circuit ''is provided with function of own inversion to be kept in a steady state'', it is regarded that the four- value is detected and the data is processed. |
