PURPOSE:To eliminate backlash by integrally and continuously constructing a deflection generating member, a boss, and a flexible cylindrical body, in a harmonic gear device having a joint for a deflection generating member. CONSTITUTION:A flexible cylindrical body 21 is connected to a boss 22 having a deflection generating member 2 connected to one end thereof and a rotary shaft 1 connected to the other end thereof. The flexible cylindrical body 21 having a sufficiently thin wall is capable of flexibly deforming in radial direction so as to absorb deviations in the degrees of concentric and coaxial properties produced upon assembling between the deflection generating member 2 and the boss 22. The flexible cylindrical body further has very high rigidity in the rotating direction. Hereby, any backlash of the flexible cylindrical body 21 being a joint can be eliminated. |
