PURPOSE:To improve the quality of printing and the working efficiency by adopting electronic circuit to a dot processing process of plate making by means of a concentric mask. CONSTITUTION:A control section 1 is provided with a program and a data, controls each constitution, processes original picture information stored in a picture storage section M0 2 and obtains binary information by concentric. A processing section 4 ANDs the original picture information stored in the M0 2 and mask pattern information in a storage section M1 3 at a designated overlapped position and stores the result to a storage section M2 5. The information in the M0 2 and the NOT of the mask pattern information of the M1 3, i.e., the inverted information are ANDed similarly and the result is stored in a storage section M3 6. The density information corresponding to each dot processed respectively by concentric mask pattern is obtained from each address.
