PURPOSE:To reduce a device at its size and weight so that destaticizing light is obtained even if there is no gap between a cleaning device and an electrostatic primary charger by arranging a light guide on the upper part of the cleaning device and using the light guide and a transmissible cleaning blade as the optical path of the destaticizing light. CONSTITUTION:The light guide 13 for destaticizing light 11 is arranged on the upper part of the cleaning device 10. The right end surface of the lower part is adhered and fixed to the cleaning blade 12 consisting of transparent urethane rubber. The destaticizing light 11 is made incident to the light guide 13, totally reflected by an inclinded part 13a, passed through a horizontal part, and irradiated on a photosensitive drum 1 through the cleaning blade 12. Even if there is no gap between the cleaning device 10 and the primary charger 2, the destaticizing light is obtained, so that the device can be reduced at its size and weight. |
