PURPOSE:To make an optical system compact and to reduce the production cost by arranging a glass block between a field lens and an eyepiece lens and compensating chromatic aberration on the axis with the glass block and the eyepiece lens. CONSTITUTION:In this eyepiece opitical system, a glass block 7 is arranged between a field lens 5 and an eyepiece lens 6, and chromatic aberration on the axis is compensated by this glass block 7 and the eyepiece lens 6. The field lens 5 is adhered to the rear end face of a relay lens 2. By this constitution, the optical system is made compact while compensating sufficiently chromatic aberration on the axis, and the production cost is reduced, and this optical system can cope easily with increase or reduction of chromatic aberration on the axis of the relay lens. |
