PURPOSE:To attain monochromatic copying by a single developer carrying means only without mixing plural colors by providing the titled device with a cleaning means for removing a developer from the developer carrying means and a developer storing case having plural storing parts for storing different color developers. CONSTITUTION:Different color toner T1-T3 are stored in the rooms 31-33 of the 1st hopper group 3. A control part 19 selects the toner in one room of the 1st hopper group 3 on the basis of input information and supplies the selected toner to the 2nd hopper 4. The toner is supplied to a developing sleeve 2 and charged while being carried to be supplied to development. A cleaning member 5 is abutted upon the developing sleeve 2 on the basis of a command signal from the control part 19 detecting the end of copying of the designated number of copies and residual toner T' on the developing sleeve 2 is cleaned up. Even if different color toner is supplied to the developing sleeve, colors are not mixed. |
