PURPOSE:To improve a thermal resistance and a light resistance by dyeing a porous alumina film formed by oxidizing anodically Al, and providing a color filter which has a clear color tone and also is excellent in heat resistance and light resistance. CONSTITUTION:On a glass substrate 12 having a transparent electrode 11 formed like a band, the transparent electrode 11 is covered with an Al film 13 and adhered to a thickness of 3mu by means of sputtering. A photoresist 14 is applied, and thereafter, the resist is removed in the shape of a prescribed repeated pattern 15. The substrate is immersed into an H2SO4 solution, and when an anodic oxidation is executed by using the substrate as an anode, the Al film becomes a white film which has been brought to an anodic oxidation completely. Subsequently, the substrate is taken out of the H2SO4 solution and washed enought by desalted water, and thereafter, when it is immersed and dyed in a solution of 10g/l density of dyestuff alphastred, the repeated pattern 15 is dyed to red. It is boiled in the desalted water for thirty minutes and the hole is sealed. It becomes strong and its heat resistance and light resistance become good. |
