AUTOMATIC CALLING SYSTEM OF FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To connect a call even to an exchange whose DC voltage polarity inversion is not applied by regarding it as a response of called party when the detection of a ring back tone is relinquished within a prescribed time so as to proceed a facsimile correspondence procedure. CONSTITUTION:An automatic calling section 31 makes automatic calling with a command of a control section 34. After the end, a ring back tone from an exchange 10 is detected and when the absence of the ring back tone is detected within the response supervision time, the signal is transmitted to the control section 34. The control section 34 transmits a signal to activate a relay for the execution of the preceding procedure of facsimile to a network control section 32. Then a facsimile equipment 30 transfers the operation to the transmission of picture via the facsimile pre-procedure through a modulator-demodulator section 33.
