PURPOSE:To prevent scratch to be inflicted on a disc due to an opener and a trouble that two discs are inserted in advance by providing a shutter function inhibiting the loading of a disc case if the movement of the opener is to be prohibited and loading the disc while confirming the function externally. CONSTITUTION:If the movement of the opener due to the loading of a disc is not suitable, a stopper 70 of the opener and a stopper part 71a of a slide plate 71 are engaged together from the position of a loading cam 74 and a drive lever 78 to block the movement of the opener. Since a shutter plate 88 is turned by the self-weight around a fulcrum pin 90, a shutter 87 constituted incorporatedly to the shutter plate 88 is descended to a position till the position where the disc case is not inserted into left/right insertion guides 92, 93. In this case, a letter of ''loading impossible'' is observed from a display window 96 of a display board 95 constituted incorporatedly with the shutter 87.
