PURPOSE:To obtain black external parts having superior corrosion resistance and a superior decorative effect by spraying a spraying material contg. Al2O3 and TiO2 in a prescribed ratio on a part of the surface of stainless steel in a prescribed thickness and by subjecting the remaining part to gold plating or TiN coating. CONSTITUTION:A spraying material contg. Al2O3 and TiO2 in 5:5-7:3 weight ratio is sprayed on a part of the surface of low carbon austenitic stainless steel. When the thikness of the sprayed layer reaches 0.1-1mm., the surface is lapped to a specular surface. The remaining part of the steel surface is then subjected to gold plating or TiN coating. Thus, black external parts having superior corrosion resistance and a superior decorative effect are obtd. |
