PURPOSE:To switch automatically a control subject by means of a rotary dial, etc. in accordance with the actual editing job, by controlling the scrolling speed when the editing data are displayed in a scroll to a variable input means such as a rotary dial, etc. for drive control of a video tape. CONSTITUTION:A memory 17 is connected to a central processor 4 to store mainly the data on an editing action. This editing data, the control state data on VTR2a, 2b...3, etc. stored in the memory 17 are supplied to a video signal producing circuit 19 from the processor 4 via an interface circuit 18. The signal of the circuit 19 is supplied to a CRT display device 20 for data monitor. Then scrolling speed of a scroll display is varied in response to the revolving speed of a rotary dial 12. The dial 12 is revolved at a high speed at an undesired data part to increase the scrolling speed. Then the revolving speed of the dial 12 is slowed down at a position near a desired data part. Thus the desired data can be easily retrieved. |
