Disclosed is a broadcast signal receiver. The broadcast signal receiver comprises: a synchronization and demodulation unit for performing signal detection and OFDM demodulation for a received signal; a frame parsing/deinterleaving unit for parsing a signal frame of the received signal and deinterleaving LDM data; a first demapping/decoding unit for performing demapping and FEC decoding of the LDM data so as to acquire first layer data; an interference cancellation unit for removing the first layer data from the LDM data so as to output second layer data; and a second demapping/decoding unit for performing demapping and FEC decoding of the second layer data.
