PURPOSE:To obtain an appropriate inflow velocity of a fluid and to use always with high efficiency by enabling the enlargement and reduction of the opening area of a fluid inlet pipe. CONSTITUTION:The opening part of a fluid inlet pipe of a cyclone separator is shown in the figure. When the inflow velocity of a gas at the opening part of a fluid inlet pipe 2 is changed, the second inlet square pipe 8 is moved, and the inclined position of the second inlet square pipe 8 is regulated and fixed with a regulating means consisting of an adjusting bolt 10, a cap nut 11, and a lock nut 12. The opening area can be changed in this way. If a means for indicating the length of the protruded adjusting bolt 10 from the outer surface of the first inlet square pipe 7 is adopted, the opening ara of an opening part 6 can easily be confirmed.
