PURPOSE:To prevent an error in measurement due to oscillation by arranging >=3 magneto-resistance effect elements (MR element) wound around the outer periphery of a rod type magnetized body, and providing a movable part which is movable in the lengthwise direction of the rod type magnetized body. CONSTITUTION:More than three MR elements 1 which have an easy magnetization axis at right angles to the lengthwise direction of the magnetized body 2 after specific-width writing is arranged in the same plane at a specific interval from the magnetized body 2 while wound around the magnetized body 2, and the movable part movable in the lengthwise direction of the magnetized body 2 is provided. When an element 1-a of an element 1 connected by a lead line 7 moves away from the magnetized body 2, an element 1-c comes closer to the magnetized body 2 and when the element 1-b leaves the magnetized body 2, the element 1-d approaches the magnetized body 2 closer. Therefore, the resistance of the element 1 varies without fail. Further, when the magnetic writing is performed over the entire flank, there is no problem even if the element 1 rotates or oscillates in the peripheral directions of the magnetized body 2.
