PURPOSE:To form a heat developable color photsensitive material enhanced in separability between the residue of a dye donor and a diffusive dye formed at the time of heat transfer by using a specified magenta dye donor for said dye donor. CONSTITUTION:The magenta dye donor represented by formula I or II reacts with the oxidation product of a color developing agent at the active site of the 3-positon of pyrazolone as the matrix nucleus of the magenta coupler to form a magenta dye. When said nucleus has small mol.wt., preferably, >=400, and no hydrophilic group, diffusivity increases in a hydrophilic binder. When a hydrophilic group, such as sulfo or carboxy, is present as the substituent of the active site, the dye donor is immobilized, but since it is released at the time of image formation, it is not unfavorable for the image formation. |
